Carbohydrates have come under fire for being "bad" or contributing to weight gain, but when you incorporate good, quality carbs into your diet, they are the fuel that helps both your brain and body perform better! In this video you'll learn various ways to incorporate complex carbohydrates into your food regimen.

Baked Sweet Potato Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 large sweet potato, organic if possible
- 1 tablespoon olive oil and sea salt for garnish
- Booster toppings: cilantro, lime juice, hemp seeds

Special equipment:
- Standard baking equipment
- Oven

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C.
2. Scrub sweet potato well under running water. Prick all over with a fork and place in a baking dish.
3. Bake for 30-60 minutes until tender (time varies depending on the size of your potato).
4. Remove from oven, slice in half lengthwise. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
